Sherburne-Earlville Marauders (Sherburne, NY) supporters were happy Friday as they witnessed their football squad knock off the visiting Jordan-Elbridge Eagles (Jordan, NY), 48-28 in a league contest.

The Marauders (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Altmar-Parish-Williamstown (Parish, NY). The Rebels enter the Section 3 C/D contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Altmar-Parish-Williamstown gained a win over Port Byron (Port Byron, NY), 49-8, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Eagles battle the Birdlebough Firebirds (Phoenix, NY) in a Section 3 C/D contest, on Thursday, October 24. Jordan-Elbridge will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Firebirds enter the contest with a 4-2 record after their 48-31 non-league win over Mexico (Mexico, NY).
