Kemper County Wildcats (DeKalb, MS) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Philadelphia Tornadoes (Philadelphia, MS), 40-22 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Kemper County improves its record to 7-1 on the season. The Wildcats host Enterprise (Enterprise, MS) to play the Bulldogs in a 3A Region 5 battle on Friday, October 25. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 5-3. Enterprise lost 54-21 in their recent league battle against Noxubee County (Macon, MS)

The Tornadoes now have a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Eupora for a 2A Region 4 battle on Friday, October 25. Philadelphia will play a Eagles team coming off a 22-14 league win over Sebastopol (Sebastopol, MS). The Eagles record now stands at 5-3.
