Kennedy Trojans (Mt. Angel, OR) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Rainier Columbians (Rainier, OR), 37-8 in a league battle.

With the win, Kennedy advances its record to 6-2 on the season. The Trojans travel to Valley Catholic (Beaverton, OR) to play the Valiants in a 3A Special District 1 battle on Friday, November 1. The Valiants go into the battle with a record of 2-5.

The Columbians now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they host North Marion for a 3A Special District 1 battle on Friday, October 25. Rainier will play a Huskies team coming off a 34-28 league loss to Valley Catholic (Beaverton, OR). The Huskies record now stands at 0-7.
