The Lake Linden-Hubbell Lakes football squad scored 16 points and limited the host Wright Red Devils to 14 in the Lakes league triumph on Friday.
The Lakes now sport a 3-5 record.
With the defeat, Wright drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Red devils travel to Gogebic [Johnston/Wakefield] (Bessemer, MI) to meet the Miners in a Great Lakes - West (8 Man) test on Friday, October 25. The Miners come into the test with a record of 4-4. Gogebic [Johnston/Wakefield] lost 40-13 in their recent league test against North Central (Powers, MI)
