The Lauderdale County Tigers football squad scored 49 points and limited the visiting Rogers Pirates to 0 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now hold a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Colbert Heights for a 3A Region 7 test on Friday, October 25. Lauderdale County will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 48-0 league loss to Mars Hill Bible (Florence, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-5.

With the defeat, Rogers drops to 5-3 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Elkmont (Elkmont, AL) to meet the Red Devils in a 3A Region 7 test on Friday, October 25. The Red Devils come into the test with a record of 2-6. Elkmont lost 61-16 in their recent league test against Colbert County (Leighton, AL)
