The Providence Catholic Celtics were victorious over the visiting Marian Catholic Spartans football team by a score of 34-6 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Celtics face the Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers (Joliet, IL) in a CCL/ESCC - Orange challenge, on Friday, October 25. Providence Catholic will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Hilltoppers enter the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 35-21 non-league loss to Chicago Mt. Carmel (Chicago, IL).
The Spartans (2-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Rochelle (Rochelle, IL). The Hubs enter the non-league challenge with a 7-1 record. In their last challenge, Rochelle ran past Ottawa (Ottawa, IL), 64-10, in a non-league challenge.
