Illinois High School Football - Marian Central Catholic triumphant over St. Edward

October 18, 2024: Elgin, IL 60123

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Marian Central Catholic Hurricanes (Woodstock, IL) and the host St. Edward Green Wave (Elgin, IL), witnessed Marian Central Catholic's football squad wallop St. Edward by a tally of 69-15.

The Hurricanes (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Wheaton Academy (West Chicago, IL). The Warriors enter the Chicagoland Christian contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Wheaton Academy crushed Aurora Christian (Aurora, IL), 41-0, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Green Wave confront the Bishop McNamara Fightin' Irish (Kankakee, IL) in a Chicagoland Christian contest, on Friday, October 25. St. Edward will attempt to better on its 0-8 season record. The Fightin' Irish enter the contest with a 3-5 record after their 33-25 league loss to Chicago Hope Academy (Chicago, IL).
