The McLean County Cougars football squad scored 32 points and limited the host Webster County Trojans to 10 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Trigg County for a 3A District 1 test on Friday, October 25. McLean County will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 42-37 league loss to Hopkins County Central (Madisonville, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-5.

With the defeat, Webster County drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Trojans host Union County (Morganfield, KY) to meet the Braves in a 3A District 1 test on Friday, October 25. The Braves come into the test with a record of 7-2. Union County won 49-7 in their recent league test against Hancock County (Lewisport, KY)
