Mountain View Mountain Lions (Tucson, AZ) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Nogales Apaches (Nogales, AZ), 42-0 in a league battle.

With the win, Mountain View advances its record to 4-3 on the season. The Mountain Lions travel to Maricopa (Maricopa, AZ) to play the Rams in a 5A Sonoran battle on Friday, October 25. The Rams go into the battle with a record of 4-3. Maricopa lost 34-14 in their recent league battle against Tucson High Magnet School (Tucson, AZ)

The Apaches now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they travel to Ironwood Ridge for a 5A Sonoran battle on Friday, October 25. Nogales will play a Nighthawks team coming off a 30-27 league win over Tucson High Magnet School (Tucson, AZ). The Nighthawks record now stands at 6-1.
