In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Taylor County Cardinals football squad scored a good 20-7 triumph over the North Laurel Jaguars.
The Cardinals (4-4) will now prepare for their match against Lincoln County (Stanford, KY). The Patriots come into the 4A District 7 match with a 4-4 record. In their last match, Lincoln County was beaten by Boyle County (Danville, KY), 41-0, in a league match.
