In Friday's league game, the South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC) football team edged the host North Stokes Vikings (Danbury, NC), by a tally of 22-21.

In their next game, the Sauras face the Starmount Rams (Boonville, NC) in a Northwest 1A game, on Friday, October 25. South Stokes will attempt to better on its 1-7 season record. The Rams enter the game with a 7-1 record after their 35-20 league win over East Wilkes (Ronda, NC).

The Vikings (2-7) will now prepare for their game against East Wilkes (Ronda, NC). The Cardinals enter the Northwest 1A game with a 5-2 record.
