The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Phillipsburg Panthers (Phillipsburg, KS) and the visiting Norton Bluejays (Norton, KS), witnessed Phillipsburg's football squad knock off Norton by a tally of 50-21.

The Panthers (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Minneapolis (Minneapolis, KS). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Minneapolis gained a win over Russell (Russell, KS), 35-15, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Bluejays battle the Concordia Panthers (Concordia, KS) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 25. Norton will attempt to better on its 6-1 season record. The Panthers enter the contest with a 1-6 record after their 42-0 league loss to Rock Creek (St. George, KS).
