Illinois High School Football - Salt Fork falls to Oakwood

The Oakwood Comets felled the host Salt Fork Storm football team by a score of 42-33 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Comets play the Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin Blue Devils (Bismarck, IL) in a Vermilion Valley challenge, on Friday, October 25. Oakwood will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Blue Devils go into the challenge with a 8-0 record after their 62-6 league win over Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Chrisman (Georgetown, IL).

The Storm (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Clifton Central (Clifton, IL). The Comets go into the Vermilion Valley challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Clifton Central toppled Iroquois West (Gilman, IL), 41-0, in a league challenge.
