Texas High School Football - West Texas crushed by Panhandle

Panhandle Panthers (Panhandle, TX) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting West Texas Comanches (Stinnett, TX), 69-12 in a league battle.

With the win, Panhandle improves its record to 7-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to Sunray (Sunray, TX) to play the Bobcats in a 2A-1 Region I District 1 battle on Friday, October 25. The Bobcats go into the battle with a record of 7-0. Sunray won 68-8 in their recent league battle against Highland Park (Amarillo, TX)

The Comanches now have a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Sanford-Fritch for a 2A-1 Region I District 1 battle on Friday, October 25. West Texas will play a Eagles team coming off a 49-6 league loss to Spearman (Spearman, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 1-6.
