Pennsylvania High School Football - Wallenpaupack Area prevails Pittston

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Wallenpaupack Area Buckhorns football squad scored a good 22-10 triumph over the Pittston Patriots.

The Buckhorns (4-5) will now prepare for their match against Valley View (Archbald, PA). The Cougars come into the Lackawanna 1 match with a 8-1 record. In their last match, Valley View defeated Wyoming Valley West (Plymouth, PA), 35-10, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Patriots confront the Wyoming Area Warriors (Exeter, PA) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 25. Pittston will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Warriors come into the match with a 8-1 record after their 50-0 league win over Greater Nanticoke Area (Nanticoke, PA).
