Idaho High School Football - St. Maries thwarted by Priest River

October 18, 2024: St. Maries, ID 83861

Priest River Spartans (Priest River, ID) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host St. Maries Lumberjacks (St. Maries, ID), 24-8 in a league battle.

With the win, Priest River advances its record to 5-2 on the season. The Spartans host Kellogg (Kellogg, ID) to play the Wildcats in a 3A Intermountain battle on Friday, October 25. The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 3-5. Kellogg lost 50-22 in their recent league battle against Grangeville (Grangeville, ID)

The Lumberjacks now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they host Orofino for a 3A Intermountain battle on Friday, October 25. St. Maries will play a Maniacs team coming off a 41-0 non-league loss to Bonners Ferry (Bonners Ferry, ID). The Maniacs record now stands at 1-6.
