Tennessee High School Football - PURE Academy trounced by Walker Valley

The PURE Academy Athletes football team (Memphis, TN), was crushed 49-8 in Friday's non-league bout with the host Walker Valley Mustangs (Cleveland, TN)

With the win, Walker Valley advances its record to 7-2 on the season. The Mustangs host McMinn County (Athens, TN) to encounter the Cherokees in a 5A Region 4 bout on Friday, November 1. The Cherokees go into the bout with a record of 5-4.

The Athletes now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Rossville Christian Academy for a non-league bout on Friday, October 25. PURE Academy will encounter a Wolves team coming off a 52-18 league loss to Lee Academy (Clarksdale, MS). The Wolves record now stands at 2-7.
