The Ropes Eagles football squad scored 62 points and limited the visiting Smyer Bobcats to 6 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sundown for a 2A-2 Region I District 3 test on Friday, October 25. Ropes will meet a Roughnecks squad coming off a 48-12 league win over Plains (Plains, TX). The Roughnecks record now stands at 2-5.

With the defeat, Smyer drops to 0-7 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Seagraves (Seagraves, TX) to meet the Eagles in a 2A-2 Region I District 3 test on Friday, October 25. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 4-3. Seagraves lost 27-21 in their recent league test against Tahoka (Tahoka, TX)
