The West Hardin Oilers football squad scored 43 points and limited the visiting Sabine Pass Sharks to 14 in the Oilers league triumph on Friday.

The Oilers now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Deweyville for a 2A-2 Region III District 12 test on Friday, October 25. West Hardin will meet a Pirates squad coming off a 35-3 league win over Evadale (Evadale, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 7-1.

With the defeat, Sabine Pass drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Sharks host Deweyville (Deweyville, TX) to meet the Pirates in a 2A-2 Region III District 12 test on Friday, November 1. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 7-1.
