The San Marcos Academy Bears football team (San Marcos, TX), dropped 73-47 in Friday's non-league bout with the host Valor Preparatory Academy Knights (Waco, TX)

With the win, Valor Preparatory Academy advances its record to 6-2 on the season. The Knights host Azle Christian (Azle, TX) to encounter the Fighting Crusaders in a TAPPS Six-Man Division III District 2 (6 Man) bout on Friday, October 25. The Fighting Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Azle Christian won 75-55 in their recent non-league bout against Grace Classical Christian Academy (Granbury, TX)

The Bears now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Faith Academy for a TAPPS Six-Man Division II District 4 (6 Man) bout on Friday, October 25. San Marcos Academy will encounter a Flames team coming off a 99-93 non-league loss to Cherokee (Cherokee, TX). The Flames record now stands at 2-6.
