New Mexico High School Football - West Mesa trounced by Sandia

Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM), 41-7 in a league battle.

With the win, Sandia advances its record to 4-4 on the season. The Matadors travel to Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM) to encounter the Bulldogs in a 6A District 2 battle on Friday, October 25. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 4-4. Albuquerque lost 21-6 in their recent league battle against Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM)

The Mustangs now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Eldorado for a 6A District 2 battle on Thursday, October 24. West Mesa will encounter a Golden Eagles team coming off a 21-6 league win over Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 5-3.
