Nevada High School Football - Sparks crushed by Truckee

October 18, 2024: Sparks, NV 89431

Truckee Wolverines (Truckee, CA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Sparks Railroaders (Sparks, NV), 49-0 in a league battle.

With the win, Truckee improves its record to 9-0 on the season. The Wolverines host South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA) to play the Vikings in a 3A Northern battle on Saturday, October 26. The Vikings go into the battle with a record of 3-6. South Tahoe lost 41-14 in their recent league battle against Lowry (Winnemucca, NV)

The Railroaders now have a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Fernley for a 3A Northern battle on Thursday, October 24. Sparks will play a Vaqueros team coming off a 34-13 league loss to Spring Creek (Spring Creek, NV). The Vaqueros record now stands at 4-5.
