New York High School Football - St. John the Baptist falls to St. Anthony's

The St. Anthony's Friars felled the visiting St. John the Baptist Cougars football team by a score of 34-13 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Friars play the Kellenberg Memorial Firebirds (Uniondale, NY) in a Catholic AAA challenge, on Friday, October 25. St. Anthony's will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Firebirds go into the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 42-7 league loss to Iona Prep (New Rochelle, NY).
The Cougars (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Joseph-by-the-Sea (Staten Island, NY). The Vikings go into the Catholic AA I challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, St. Joseph-by-the-Sea toppled Kennedy Catholic (Somers, NY), 35-7, in a non-league challenge.
