The Tradition Prep Pirates (Port St. Lucie, FL) football tipped the host St. John Paul II Academy Eagles (Boca Raton, FL), 34-29 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Pirates now sport a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Edward's for a non-league outing on Thursday, October 24. Tradition Prep will clash with a Pirates squad coming off a 41-0 league win over Berean Christian (West Palm Beach, FL). The Pirates record now stands at 7-1.

With the defeat, St. John Paul II Academy drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Somerset Academy Key (Deerfield Beach, FL) to clash with the Lions in a 1A District 13 outing on Friday, October 25. The Lions come into the outing with a record of 5-4. Somerset Academy Key won 40-22 in their recent non-league outing against Miami Country Day (Miami, FL)
