In Friday's league match, the visiting White Longhorns football squad scored a decisive 48-6 victory over the Sunset Bison.
The Longhorns (5-3) will now prepare for their match against Molina (Dallas, TX). The Jaguars enter the 5A-1 Region II District 6 match with a 2-5 record. In their last match, Molina routed North Mesquite (Mesquite, TX), 50-40, in a league match.
Coming up next, the Bison confront the Turner Lions (Carrollton, TX) in a 5A-1 Region II District 6 match, on Thursday, October 24. Sunset will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Lions enter the match with a 2-5 record after their 35-14 league loss to Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX).
