Pennsylvania High School Football - Towanda defeats Tunkhannock

October 18, 2024: Tunkhannock, PA 18657

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Towanda Black Knights football squad scored a good 28-3 victory over the Tunkhannock Tigers.

The Black Knights (7-2) will now prepare for their match against Wyalusing Valley (Wyalusing, PA). The Rams enter the PIAA District IV match with a 4-5 record. In their last match, Wyalusing Valley was outscored by Hughesville (Hughesville, PA), 24-7, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Tigers confront the Berwick Bulldogs (Berwick, PA) in a Wyoming Valley 2 match, on Friday, October 25. Tunkhannock will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 3-6 record after their 38-20 non-league loss to Selinsgrove (Selinsgrove, PA).
