The Central Wildcats volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Barbe Buccaneers to 1 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now possess a 17-6 record. They play next when they travel to St. Joseph's Academy for a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 22. Central will play a Redstickers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Zachary (Zachary, LA). The Redstickers record now stands at 12-12.

With the loss, Barbe drops to 22-9 on the campaign. The Buccaneers travel to Benton (Benton, LA) to play the Tigers in a non-league outing on Friday, October 18. The Tigers come into the outing with a record of 16-5. Benton lost 3-2 in their recent league outing against Byrd (Shreveport, LA)
