Hondo Valley Eagles (Hondo, NM) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Clovis Christian Eagles (Clovis, NM), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Hondo Valley advances its record to 7-11 on the season. The Eagles travel to Corona/Vaughn (Corona, NM) to face the Cardinals in a 1A District 3 test on Tuesday, October 22. The Cardinals go into the test with a record of 8-9. Corona/Vaughn lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Alamo Navajo (Magdalena, NM)

The Eagles now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grady for a 1A District 6 test on Thursday, October 24. Clovis Christian will face a Bronchos squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Logan (Logan, NM). The Bronchos record now stands at 13-4.
