In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Park Rangers volleyball team scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Corvallis Blue Devils.

The Rangers (8-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Beaverhead County (Dillon, MT). The Beavers come into the non-league challenge with a 12-2 record. In their last challenge, Beaverhead County edged East Helena (East Helena, MT), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Blue Devils play the Powell County Wardens (Deer Lodge, MT) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 18. Corvallis will attempt to upgrade on its 4-15 season record. The Wardens come into the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Florence-Carlton (Florence, MT).
