Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Glenbard West Hilltoppers (Glen Ellyn, IL) and the visiting Naperville Central Redhawks (Naperville, IL), observed Glenbard West's volleyball team top Naperville Central by a tally of 2-0.
The Hilltoppers (23-7) will now prepare for their contest against Prairie Ridge (Crystal Lake, IL). The Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 19-9 record. In their last contest, Prairie Ridge was beaten by Central (Burlington, IL), 2-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Redhawks meet the Mother McAuley Mighty Macs (Chicago, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 19. Naperville Central will attempt to upgrade on its 18-11 season record. The Mighty Macs enter the contest with a 25-3 record after their 2-0 league win over Fenwick (Oak Park, IL).
