Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Rush-Henrietta Royal Comets (Henrietta, NY) and the host Livonia Bulldogs (Livonia, NY), observed Rush-Henrietta's volleyball team top Livonia by a count of 3-0.

The Royal Comets (4-14) will now prepare for their contest against Fairport (Fairport, NY). The Red Raiders enter the Section 5 Monroe County I contest with a 24-2 record. In their last contest, Fairport defeated Webster Thomas (Webster, NY), 3-0, in a non-league bout.

With the loss, Livonia drops to 5-10 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Wayland-Cohocton (Wayland, NY) to clash with the Eagles in a Section 5 Livingston County I bout on Monday, October 21. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 9-8. Wayland-Cohocton lost 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Warsaw (Warsaw, NY)
