The Conwell-Egan Catholic Eagles football squad scored 41 points and limited the visiting Archbishop Carroll Patriots to 6 in the Eagles league triumph on Saturday.
The Eagles now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Lansdale Catholic for a Philadelphia Catholic - Blue challenge on Friday, October 24. Conwell-Egan Catholic will face a Crusaders team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Archbishop Ryan (Philadelphia, PA). The Crusaders record now stands at 7-2.
The Patriots (2-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Hanover (Hanover, PA). The Nighthawks go into the non-league challenge with a 2-7 record. In their last challenge, Hanover was ripped by Bermudian Springs (York Springs, PA), 55-0, in a league challenge.
