The Archmere Academy Auks walloped the host Laurel Bulldogs football team by a score of 42-6 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Auks now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tatnall for a non-league test on Saturday, October 25. Archmere Academy will meet a Hornets squad coming off a 40-7 non-league win over St. Andrew's (Middletown, DE). The Hornets record now stands at 1-6.

With the defeat, Laurel drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Lake Forest (Felton, DE) to face the Spartans in a 2A District 3 challenge on Friday, October 24. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 7-0. Lake Forest won 42-14 in their recent league challenge against Milford (Milford, DE)
