California High School Football - North Tahoe crushed by Battle Mountain

The Battle Mountain Longhorns overwhelmed the host North Tahoe Lakers football squad by a count of 41-0 in Saturday's league test.

The Longhorns now hold a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pershing County for a 2A Northern test on Friday, October 24. Battle Mountain will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 60-0 league win over Yerington (Yerington, NV). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-1.

With the defeat, North Tahoe drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Lakers host Silver Stage (Silver Springs, NV) to face the Nighthawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 25. The Nighthawks go into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Silver Stage lost 61-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Coral Academy of Science - Reno (Reno, NV)
