New Mexico High School Football - Farmington falls to Cibola

October 18, 2025: Albuquerque, NM 87114

The Cibola Cougars ran past the visiting Farmington Scorpions football squad by a margin of 28-10 in Saturday's league test.

The Cougars now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Piedra Vista for a 6A District 1 test on Friday, October 24. Cibola will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 54-0 league loss to Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM). The Panthers record now stands at 3-5.

With the defeat, Farmington drops to 1-7 on the campaign. The Scorpions travel to Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM) to meet the Rams in a 6A District 1 challenge on Friday, October 24. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 5-3. Rio Rancho won 28-27 in their recent league challenge against Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM)
