Rhode Island High School Football - Pilgrim overwhelmed by Classical

The Classical Purple trounced the visiting Pilgrim Patriots football squad by a margin of 41-0 in Saturday's league outing.

The Purple now sport a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ponaganset for a Division III outing on Saturday, October 25. Classical will clash with a Chieftains squad coming off a 40-0 league win over Rogers (Newport, RI). The Chieftains record now stands at 6-0.

With the defeat, Pilgrim drops to 1-6 on the year. The Patriots travel to Johnston (Johnston, RI) to face the Panthers in a Division III game on Friday, October 24. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 6-1. Johnston won 21-14 in their recent league game against East Greenwich (East Greenwich, RI)
