In their next game, the play the Avon Old Farms Beavers (Avon, CT) in a non-league test, on Saturday, October 25. Dexter Southfield will attempt to upgrade on its 6-0 season record. The Beavers come into the test with a 6-0 record after their 28-14 league win over Taft School (Watertown, CT).

With the defeat, Loomis Chaffee School drops to 2-4 on the season. The Pelicans host Choate Rosemary Hall School (Wallingford, CT) to face the Wild Boars in a Founders challenge on Saturday, October 25. The Wild Boars go into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Choate Rosemary Hall School won 30-13 in their recent league test against Hotchkiss School (Lakeville, CT)
