The Hand Tigers walloped the host Xavier Falcons football team by a score of 65-16 in Saturday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers face the Shelton Gaels (Shelton, CT) in a Southern Connecticut challenge, on Friday, October 24. Hand will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Gaels go into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 17-0 league loss to Guilford (Guilford, CT).
The Falcons (1-5) will now prepare for their test against Branford (Branford, CT). The Hornets come into the Southern Connecticut test with a 4-1 record.
