California High School Football - Saint Francis falls to Junipero Serra

October 18, 2025: San Mateo, CA 94403

The Junipero Serra Padres felled the visiting Saint Francis Lancers football team by a score of 41-28 in Saturday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Padres face the Archbishop Mitty Monarchs (San Jose, CA) in a West Catholic test, on Friday, October 24. Junipero Serra will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Monarchs come into the test with a 5-2 record after their 27-20 league win over Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (San Francisco, CA).

With the defeat, Saint Francis drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Lancers host St. Ignatius College Preparatory (San Francisco, CA) to face the Wildcats in a West Catholic test on Friday, October 24. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 2-5. St. Ignatius College Preparatory won 28-0 in their recent league test against Bellarmine College Prep (San Jose, CA)
