In Saturday's league match, the host Mt. Abraham Eagles football squad scored a close 14-7 victory over the Spaulding Crimson Tide.
The Eagles (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against Poultney (Poultney, VT). The Blue Devils go into the non-league battle with a 0-7 record. In their last battle, Poultney was tipped by Otter Valley (Brandon, VT), 49-12, in a league battle.
