California High School Football - San Lorenzo Valley gets by St. Francis

The San Lorenzo Valley Cougars got by the visiting St. Francis Sharks football team by a score of 23-21 in Saturday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars play the Monte Vista Christian Mustangs (Watsonville, CA) in a Pacific Coast - Mission North challenge, on Thursday, October 23. San Lorenzo Valley will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 45-21 league loss to Scotts Valley (Scotts Valley, CA).

The Sharks (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against North Monterey County (Castroville, CA). The Condors go into the Pacific Coast - Mission North challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, North Monterey County was edged by Watsonville (Watsonville, CA), 25-13, in a league test.
