Rhode Island High School Football - St. Mark's smashes St. George's

The St. Mark's Lions (Southborough, MA) football trounced the host St. George's Dragons (Middletown, RI), 42-6 in Saturday's league outing.

The Lions now sport a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Thayer Academy for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 25. St. Mark's will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 16-14 league win over Governor's Academy (Byfield, MA). The Tigers record now stands at 3-2.

The Dragons (0-5) will now prepare for their game against Groton School (Groton, MA). The enter the Independent School ISL-9 game with a 0-5 record. In their last game, Groton School was trounced by Rivers (Weston, MA), 53-14, in a league game.
