Albany Cougars (Albany, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host American Eagles (Fremont, CA), 1-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Albany improves its record to 23-5 on the season.
The Eagles now own a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host James Logan for a test on Tuesday, October 21. American will face a Colts squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Mission San Jose (Fremont, CA). The Colts record now stands at 6-0.
