With the win, Merritt Academy improves its record to 7-5 on the year. The Mustangs travel to University Liggett (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI) to battle the Knights in a non-league contest on Saturday, October 18. The Knights enter the contest with a record of 0-0.

Next, the Roughriders battle the Parkway Christian Eagles (Sterling Heights, MI) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 21. Roeper will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Eagles go into the battle with a 2-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Merritt Academy (New Haven, MI).
