In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Kent School Lions soccer squad scored a tight 4-1 win over the Hopkins Hilltoppers.

The Lions (7-4) will now prepare for their outing against Avon Old Farms (Avon, CT). The Beavers enter the Founders outing with a 8-2 record. In their last outing, Avon Old Farms tipped Westminster School (Simsbury, CT), 2-1, in a league outing.

Next up, the Hilltoppers confront the Hamden Hall Country Day Hornets (Hamden, CT) in a Fairchester outing, on Monday, October 20. Hopkins will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Hornets come into the test with a 3-5 record after their 9-0 league loss to Greenwich Country Day (Greenwich, CT).
