Colorado High School Softball - Mead edges Discovery Canyon

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Mead Mavericks (Longmont, CO) and the host Discovery Canyon Thunder (Colorado Springs, CO), observed Mead's softball team get by Discovery Canyon by a tally of 11-9.

The Mavericks (13-13) will now prepare for their bout against Pueblo Central (Pueblo, CO). The Wildcats enter the non-league game with a 19-4 record. In their last game, Pueblo Central edged Discovery Canyon (Colorado Springs, CO), 6-5, in a non-league game.

The Thunder now hold a 7-18 record.

This game is a part of the 2025 CHSAA Class 4A Softball Round of 32 - Class 4A Site 5 tournament
