Algonac Muskrats (Algonac, MI) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Royal Oak Ravens (Royal Oak, MI), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Muskrats (12-23) will now prepare for their challenge against Lutheran (Westland, MI). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 7-14 record. In their last challenge, Lutheran lost by Plymouth Christian Academy (Canton, MI), 3-0, in a league test.

The Ravens now sport a 5-21 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Allen Park for a non-league test on Saturday, October 18. Royal Oak will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Edsel Ford (Dearborn, MI). The Jaguars record now stands at 16-8.
