The St. Ignace Saints edged the visiting Bellaire Eagles volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Saints confront the Sault Area Blue Devils (Sault St. Marie, MI) in a Straits Area game, on Saturday, October 18. St. Ignace will attempt to advance on its 23-7 season record. The Blue Devils go into the game with a 7-11 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Escanaba (Escanaba, MI).

With the loss, Bellaire drops to 14-6 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Mancelona (Mancelona, MI) to play the Ironmen in a Ski-Valley outing on Tuesday, October 21. The Ironmen come into the outing with a record of 8-15. Mancelona lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Inland Lakes (Indian River, MI)
