Bridgewater/Emery Huskies (Emery, SD) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Colome Cowboys (Colome, SD), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Huskies (23-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Boyd County (Spencer, NE). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 10-12 record. In their last challenge, Boyd County beat Randolph (Randolph, NE), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cowboys play the Jones County Coyotes (Murdo, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 21. Colome will attempt to upgrade on its 1-21 season record. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a 15-10 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Lemmon (Lemmon, SD).
