The Byrd Yellow Jackets (Shreveport, LA) volleyball held off the host Thomas Jefferson (Gretna, LA), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Yellow Jackets now possess a 27-5 record. They play next when they host South Lafourche for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 18. Byrd will battle a Tarpons squad coming off a 3-0 league win over South Terrebonne (Bourg, LA). The Tarpons record now stands at 19-7.
